As one of the main sugar beet producing areas in China, Inner Mongolia's sugar beet industry has always been constrained by seeds. Through the implementation of the "Outstanding Sugarbeet Germplasm Creation and Suitable Mechanized Operation Variety Selection" project in the autonomous region, we will gradually achieve independent and controllable sugar beet germplasm sources.

The Inner Mongolia Academy of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Sciences, in collaboration with six scientific research units and universities, including Inner Mongolia Baihuisheng New Agricultural Technology Company, has formed an "Innovation Alliance". After two years of research and development, the project team has developed a high-yield and high-quality multi resistance single embryo new variety, breaking through the technology of sugar beet seed pellet processing, achieving the expansion of tissue culture seedlings, hybridization with other parents, and then field application, gradually building an integrated "breeding and promotion" sugar beet seed industry innovation technology system.
