Recently, the Gansu Provincial Agricultural Technology Promotion Station took the lead in organizing an expert team composed of sugar experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, experts in the national sugar industry technology system, and experts from the provincial seed management station to conduct on-site production and sugar testing on the "Integrated Application of Mechanized High yield and High Sugar Comprehensive Cultivation Technology Research and Development and Ton Sugar Field Creation" project implemented by the Zhangye Agricultural Science Research Institute based on the national sugar industry technology system. The team also conducted on-site production and sugar testing, and conducted on-site investigation and verification of sugar beet harvest, as well as on-site appraisal and acceptance.

Through expert group verification, the yield of sugar beets per 10000 mu at Shandan Farm has reached over 7 tons, with a sugar content rate of over 17%. The yield of sugar beets per 3500 mu at Linze Farm has reached over 8 tons, with a sugar content rate of 16%, achieving the expected target of "7.17" and "8.16" tons of sugar beet fields. The expert group unanimously believes that through the implementation of this project, the sugar beet production level in the Hexi Corridor of Gansu has reached the high expected goal, and has explored the "Gansu model" and "Gansu experience" to promote the high-quality development of the national sugar beet industry.
